225 SHO ECU Flash Prop Size?

I've got kind of unicorn on my hands. Running an old mint 98' TR21 with a 225 SHO. Hydraulic plate running a 23.5P Bravo 1 FS and a 23P Razor 4. Can hit the limiter with both at 6200 running really high on the plate. We see only 67-68mph with a tournament load down river current and 65mph against river current, full fuel, and two big guys. Trying to get to 72-73. I am having the ECU flashed this week by HydroTech and they recommend going up 2 pitch sizes. Keeping the rev limiter at stock 6200 with the flash. My question is do yall think going up 2 pitch sizes is enough? I think the flash makes the 225 a 300hp with stock rev limiter. Should I go to the 25.5 Bravo 1 FS or to a 26P? Any other prop recommendations? Thought about a Fury but wanted to stay with a 4 blade due to the curvy river we run and the Bravo and Razor 4 blade make it feel like its running on rails. Thanks for the replies!

25.5 pitch if you need more bow lift. 26" pitch if the boat likes to run more level. But according to the calculator 25.5 would work better (on the Bravo XS/FS) to get to 73, Razor 4's tend to run heavier than their pitch.

If you are in the rev limiter now, you will likely need to go up at least 3 pitches.

If set up right it should be able to turn a 27-28" pitch Bavo on that hull, and run mid 80s. 3 blade use a Tempest not a Fury, 27 pitch Tempest would be Ideal.

I have a Croxton RZR 4XLR 25 that I would consider selling. It is my spare and I have to watch it in the cooler months because it will hit the rev limiter. I run a 25 Scorpion and it is about right.

You will likely need something in the 27 pitch range. Bravo, tempest, t1, etc

Thanks for all the replies! These props are $1000-$1100 and I hate guessing. Being at the limiter currently at stock with the 23.5P Bravo had me thinking 2 pitch sizes up but I think I may try the 26P. My Triton has two power pole blades and a NBT battleship graph on the front causing a lot of wind drag not to mention the passenger weight of nearly 500lbs. I’m 6’5” 255lbs and my partner is a bit porky at 235lbs. We carry two aisle of a Bass Pro Shop in the front storage area and 40 rods.

Hydrotech says I should be at 300hp at the prop with stock limiter of 6200 with this flash. It may require a 27P. Has anyone had their flash done and how many pitches up did you go using the same prop? Also this Triton won’t run this prop without being way high. Like 1” below pad or less. We usually max out the Atlas plate to get the best performance currently. Yes we have a slung a blade off a Bravo XS before.

I would say you'll need to go up more than a couple of sizes. I have a 200 SHO on my Ranger and I'm running a 27 Bravo. That tune does amazing things and gives you power for days.
