Damn man that's kind of harsh to say about your buddy's rig. Hopefully your buddy doesn't read this.

Did you tell him his boat sucks? If not I can pm him for ya if you share his screen name.
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

Most people think they have the best boat, whether they do or not.

I have seen a few and I thought they looked fine but I drive an old boat so I don’t know anything. Nothing against it or a Skeeter.

When you own a new boat, nothing is better than your rig.
When you own an old boat, you always want what you can't have!

Take the Falcon out in the rain and see if the compartments are wet like the Skeeter lol

I also liked the color, dark mist of some sort. Being the owner of a 2023 Skeeter FXR 21, I was all too ready to compare boats as the trip went on.

While I can say this is a nice boat, it does not come close to the Skeeter FXR series. The step up from the cockpit to the front deck and the back deck seemed to be at least 12 or so inches in either direction. There were no courtesy lights on the front deck. The tie cleats do not recess. Very limited cutouts for tools, etc. There is no water pressure gauge at all. Also no trim height gauge. I also felt like the Skeeter day box and glovebox on my single console are really nice to have, which this boat does not have.

Like most women you meet for the very first time; she seemed pretty enough when he first pulled up; but once we went out for a few hours I kept noticing little things that I didn't like. Surely doesn't mean I wouldn't ride around in her when asked, just saying not as nice as the Skeeter, in my opinion.
I’d bet that Falcon won’t have stress cracks and don’t need a bucket to keep the loose screws that fall out during the course of the day like that bug does.

lol. I sure do hear about that a lot. I haven’t owned a ton of different boats, but I dislike my current Skeeter more than any of them. It’s an older one though, so it is what it is.

Do you think your buddy will invite you again or did you tell him what you thought?

Same. I have the stripped down work truck of bass boats but it was the right boat for me. Anyone who doesn't like it can SHOVE IT or gift me nearly 100 grand for my dream glass boat (Caracal STS)!

Opinions vary. Most buddies can keep thoughts like those to themselves. Some can’t. Maybe next you can’t describe his wife to us.
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.

I had a brand new 2007 Skeeter SX190 back then. I never thought for one minute it was the best boat. In fact after 3 seasons and 8 trips to the dealers to fix things I had had it. I now have the BEST boat for me, my G3 Sportsman 17.

Post #11 describes dislikes. I’ve not been in a Falcon, but the website shows recessed cleats and a tool holder by the bow step with 5 holes. There’s a day box, coin box and another compartment where a second console would be. Trim and water pressure gauges can be added to any boat.

I’m more interested in how it rode compared to the skeeter, how it handled rough water, how stable was it, etc.
