There was a lake biologist on half time on the Lake Fork Elite tx explaining how Lake Fork is managed. Florida showed definitely take the same approach. Management of Florida lakes is if it is green kill it.

Yea, he somewhat answered why they don't spray and he said something like "well it's Lake Fork".
Too bad the biologists in Florida don't say the same thing about Lake Okeechobee.
The "thinking" of FWC is only going to change when the political landscape changes. Spraying our waterways is BIG business. When the guv appointed the new FWC board all but one were developers.....think about that.

I am not sticking up for FL since I have seen the decline for 30 plus years but lakes like Fork are similar to Stick Marsh... catch and release. I have been blessed to fish all over the country and even Japan the the release lakes are far and above all others.
I took a year of scout fishing to develop banks for clubs I am in… was getting checks …
then a couple years later they nuked all those banks… needless… no congestion no docks blockage no reason!!
As a retired college prof who taught Biology I was astounded by the state ignorance.

Very good listen regarding our waters here and involves some people who are trying to help. Lots of good educational information in there too.
