    Lowrance Vessel View

I had a dealer install the Lowrance Vessel View on my outboard and now my smartcraft guages don't work. They are telling me that it is either smartcraft or the Lowrance that it's incapable of both. I dont understand it. I had a 4 port smartcraft junction box with 1 incoming from the motor and 2 going to the smartcraft guages and I thought if I used the open port I could send the data to my lowrances through the Nema Link.

They are telling me I need to choose one or the other. It makes no sense to me. Does someone have the right answer. Thanks!

Do you know the part number that was installed, or at the very least, the version number?

In most cases, you CAN use two Smartcraft Systems, provided that you have appropriate terminating resistors and that one is configured as the Primary (Station-1) and the other as a SLAVE (Station-2).
