    Power Pole Move ZR transducer...

I'm in the process of getting a Move ZR. I read the literature for the Lowrance Tranducer. It stated the the Lowrance Transducer is a skimmer type transducer. I want/need depth/temp from any transducer I put on the bow. Does the Move ZR even come with universal sonar or something similar that can provide the two data points I'm looking for - without hanging an external transducer on the motor? Not really looking to strap a skimmer type transducer on the bottom of the motor. That's kinna 1990'ish for a cutting edge trolling motor...

I have a ZR with the built in transducer. It is a $200 up charge but works very well with my Lowrance units. I believe the temp is read from the 3 and 1 transducer in the rear of the boat. ZR built in Transducer looks like a skimmer but half the size.

Mmmm... I'm confused. One person says it's "built-in". The other states is looks like a skimmer but is smaller. Guess I'll find out as I changed my order to include the Lowrance HDI transducer. Should I ever actually receive this trolling motor.

I had this, or similar, transducer on my Gen 2 set up. Produced some really nice down scan imaging....

Yeah, I done several, but I guess not enough, searches. Guess I'll do sum'ore searching. Ahhh... Haaaaa... found it. Yeah, that'll work. Better than after the fact install not quite as good a true built-in. That is simply my opinion... May or may not be true. YMMV. and all'a that stuff.

Does anyone make a mount that will securely hold a Garmin transducer to the motor? I had a GT54 mounted with hose clamps and it was tough to keep it properly oriented.

Not trying to be pushy here but you really need to start your own thread with that topic. Changing topics/subject of an existing post can make them go "off the rails" pretty quickly. Thanks for understanding.

Might want to check with transducer shield and saver to see what they offer...

I messed around and figured it out.
Know have it selected as temp on bow unit.
