2 yrs old, when starting up at times, nothing happens when pressing confirm on touchscreen. If I use the check button it's finishes loading. Only does this 50% of the time.

That just means the touch screen is not recognizing you touched it. Could be temp related for your finger or the screen since you are in the frozen tundra.
