This Is How You Nail Up Fence Pickets

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

He is fast but I like to leave a small space between boards for because all the materials I ever found warp and need space due to rain and environment causing boards to grow and shrink. Maybe he is using a better grade wood than I found.

If you put them tight together they will shrink in a short time and there will be a small gap.

This is how I have always done it. Yes, they will dry and shrink, but they will also soak up more rain and expand. That fence will be good for a few years, but it will not last looking good.

As long as he’s shooting ring shank nails with that nail gun I’d be okay with it. They hold much better. His technique and execution is flawless.

All I have ever seen after a year or so there’s not a flat board on it. Warped everywhere. Low quality wood I imagine. The gap from stinking will expand back when wet for a few days. Probably because it rains every other day down here.
