New Exsence B from Shimano

I thought I’d get some initial thoughts on this. It looks like they added a lot of infinity technology which includes Infinity Drive, Infinity Loop, Infinity Cross, and Dura Cross. This should just make the reel more robust and probably smoother. Between the 3000 models, they reduced the weight by 0.2 grams. It’s nothing crazy, but how much lighter can you get without being cheap and sacrificing strength. No complaints there. It’s also $599.99-$609.99. I’m assuming the 4000 is the one with the price increase. So weight reduction, new tech, and same price is pretty sweet. They also added a 2500 size model which I thought was pretty cool. It seems like they made it pretty different from the A. I had the Exsence A though and was not super impressed for $600. I thought the Certate was better for the money and honestly I liked the twin power a fair amount more too. Hopefully this reel is a lot better than the A, otherwise I’ll just stick with my Certates and twin powers.
