    little river 5-23

I got to the lake about 830 and mainly fished the south end. holy crap lots of weeds! I caught 17 bass, 3 walleye and a big ugly bulkhead! I did catch my first bass on the minnow and jig head on livescope. even got bit on a rage bug doing same thing! I caught most of my fish on crawdad crankbait. mostly cranking outside weed edges and any oppen spot. water temp was 62-66 and at least 4-5 feet clear! I now have 10 hours on my 36 volt lithium battery and its at 70 percent! ran down my iconic cranker to 44 percent. so about 10 hours on that too cause i didn't charge from last trip. wanted to see my run time with 3 12 inch screens and 10 inch plus livescope and mega 360. boat is cleaned up and ready for mille lacs next Wednesday! I'm off on Tuesday but will be rigging rods and packing! besides knowing my luck i might break something if I went fishing!

Thanks for the report! I need to remember the crank bait more. Usually if it’s weedy I don’t throw them much…. Sounds like your battery setup is going to work great! I think I read somewhere it’s good to run them down into the 30%-40% range then charge them back up.

yeah i love throwing a crankbait even if its catching grass! I try throwing in places others won't! even in timber!

far as lithium taking down to a certain percentage before charging i dont think its really true. this is my 3rd year with my cranker and I always charged it even it was sitting at 85 percent. they have to be below 80 percent for it to register a charge cycle on the app. trolling motor batteries always were always on same charger. I think I only have 30 charge cycles on it going on year 3
