There's an odd issue with my 2020 Nitro trailer. When I stop at a light or stop sign and then start driving again, it jerks slightly. I noticed the trailer saftey pin was slightly bent when I got home, but I wouldn’t expect that to cause the problem. Is there anything else I should check to prevent that jerking motion when going from a stop to a moving position?
the shock absorber in the brake actuator is prolly worn out, or your low on fluid. pretty common

Check your brake fluid.

I have had to bleed my brake actuator a few times since new.

Bleeding the brakes is a biggie to solve the issue, also pressing down on the emergency cable release will help too.
Should bleed brakes every third or fourth year.
