    2007 Optimax 115hp Oil question / help

long story short I bought a boat from a guy and he gave me the oil for it in a jug that doesn’t display what it is. I have always ran the oil show in the picture but after researching I need to be using the DFI oil since this is an optima. It is very hard to find where I live. Am I good to use the quick silver premium plus or do I need to be using the DFI oil? Whats currently in the tank is brown so I would be mixing the two to begin with.

What's in the tank is very likely Optimax/DFI oil. Until recently it did have a brown appearance.

Strongly recommend sticking with that oil. Local dealers, and major retailers that carry Mercury/Quicksilver should have that available for you to purchase, even if you have to order it in advance.

In a pinch, Premium Plus is acceptable.
