AT2 view distorted past 40 feet

Got a question for you guys,

I am getting distorted views on my screen past 40-50 feet on all three active target views (down, forward, and perspective).

Navico replaced the transducer and black box last month but I still get the distortion.

Other than switching the head units and testing, would the ethernet cable be causing this issue?

    Thanks,

A picture of what your seeing would help.
What do you mean by distorted?

Hard to see what you are seeing when looking at a photo of your screen with reflection on it. If you are serious about getting help, learning to take screen shots is your friend:

Although not common, an ethernet could cause a problem by not letting the full signal go between the box and unit. Another possibility (and more likely) is that your power is not strong.

You have a serious bad install issue. Depending on what boat you have most likely a hook nose so your TM is not level forcing your transducer to look down and not forward. You should be able to look out 150 with AT2 if not then its all geometry on FFS. If you have a point 1 next time on the water go to Point 1 data and read the deg on altitude Pitch. Put is on the trailer jack up the tongue to that deg deploy your TM and measure the shaft angle of the TM has it hangs down. If its 6 to 8 deg back towards the Transom then that is your issue. To fix Losen up the bolts on the TM center forward get some hard rubber gasket material about 1/4 to 5/16 Thick put under front if you got any gap in the center of the TM bracket fill that also depending on how thick it is. Snug up and measure your TM shaft again if straight button up and go fish. This is where you start if that is not it then its how your transducer is mounted. Take a pic of your transducer as its mounted with the TM not deployed. SO we can see all angles of it.
