If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

Yep...buzzards done already feeding. What people fail to realize is in 2023 Martin never ask if he could fish past the wall that was off limits in the Florida event. Carl ask beforehand and found out this was a legal place to fish. Now the buzzards are circling saying BASS should penalize Carl when in fact he done nothing wrong.
I don’t see any issues. He fished an area that he was able to accesss with a cast, then land the fish while remaining in the boat. In my opinion, the burden would be on the TD to specifically call this area off limits, and I don’t even think asking should be necessary (though I personally would/have with so much on the line). Pulling dock cables and going behind private docks is shadier to me, but a lot of us have done that.
cast now and worry about getting it in the boat later mentality, a winner's mentality![]()
