    Maltby irons

Anyone build their own set of these irons or hit these irons. I keep reading how good these are. I am getting fitted Monday, hope to come away with lots of specs that work for me. I blew apart my current mizunos and put custom ferrules etc on and it was pretty damn fun. I think it would be pretty neat to buy a set of these and build them up and play around with them. I am just curious if any of you have played with them at all. I would likely build 4/5 in the TE+ and TS4 from 6-P.

I had them custom build me a set of TS3 irons a few years ago, good quality set of irons, no resale value at all and hard to sell though if you get tired of them.

They are an iron sold from Golf works website. I get a lot of my stuff from Golf works. I saw they make their own clubs and you can buy just the heads and build your own set of clubs based on your specs. Depending on my fitting on Monday, I might try and build a set for myself. They get insane good reviews, but its hard to really say what they are like without hitting them myself and knowing what clubs to compare them to. Ive found many other forums speaking highly of their clubs. I dont always trust reviews on the actual website. I want real world reviews of people that have them out in the wild.

Good point on resale values not holding. I am not a guy who sells a lot off stuff. Not necessarily a hoarder, I just give stuff away when I find the right person to give things to. Still have that old bag of Nike woods and MP60's in the office. I gave the cleveland wedges away to a youngin who was getting into golf.
