2021 Mercury 250 Pro XS Trim Relay location/replacement

My 2021 Mercury 250 Pro XS Trim will raise itself when I turn on the power. It will also do it when I'm on the water and I have to keep watch and trim it back down. I want to start by replacing the Trim relays, but I cant find them. I was told that they are at the back of the motor, 2 relays for the trim and 3 relays for the starter. If anyone has a picture, I'd appreciate it, or an easy explanation would be helpful. Thanks

You may want to check all the trim switches on your boat first.

I had same issue with my 250 pro xs as well. I checked all the trim switches and the one on the bow had some corrosion. I cleaned it and added some dielectric grease and the problem fixed itself. I took it in to my merc tech after and he said relay was good so must have been that switch.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

Trim relays are located under the Starboard side air runners.

Definitely need to rule out switch problems FIRST.
