I was on a small little river…. Caught 20 or so and not a one weighed a pound!! Good sign for the future I guess…. That little river system caught hell with a fish kill a couple years ago…

First time I did that, I went spinning rod/reel shopping as soon as I got back. I don't know what you're throwing them on but a nice spinning setup makes it even more fun!

I always heard it was a lot harder to catch one with a really small mouth. Anyone can catch one in a really big mouth. A lot of skill is needed to catch one with that small of a mouth!!

It’s a joke…. Really is my first bass on a wacky senko tho…. I’ve never really rigged one up… might not ever again.. I was just goofing off killing time on a little local creek… I was trying some new baits… small bass were biting fairly good so I tried the wacky for the heck of it…. I was using a bait caster…. I’m not ever carrying a spinning rod on my boat, no desire to try one.. I own one for speckled trout fishing with a cork tho… bait casters and corks in wind don’t play well together…. But I never throw a cork, so….

    I can’t stand a spinning rod/reel..

In the dead of winter, you might want to get used to those finesse rigs if you want to catch fish. Ned Rigs and drop shots with a wacky are the best for when they are sluggish where I'm at.

Just a wee little lad. He'll grow up and bite again some day.
There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

Nothing like a wacky rig with a senko to fill out that limit. Or just get your kids or grandkids catching some bass on a slow day.

Just how big a boy are you. Your hand makes that 8 pounder look like a dink.
