    Ranger Z520 filled with water

    Hello
    I have a 2009 Z 520. I just replaced the livewell valve, and cable.
I ran the boat yesterday and had no issues. I went to launch the boat tiday
and water started leaking in. I mistakenly took off the round cover over the bilge area to have a better view if the livewell hoses.
i also had a livewell pump out issue, and changed that hose, but it is not secured
back into the outflow hole. The boat drain plug was in tight, and the
livewell was off and set on auto/ closed.

A broken hose or a thru-hull fitting are a couple of things that can/will do that. Are you sure your drain plug was in the proper hole? reason I say that,I stuck my drain plug in the livewell overflow thru-hull fitting once many years ago, water filling the boat.Thought my plug fell out, pulled the boat out and put the spare plug in and went fishing. After loading up and geting down to pull the drain plug,I noticed my original plug stuck in the overflow.

I had the cover on the transom area not secured tight enough. When I launched on a steep ramp, the water came in
through the cover. I also have some leaking in the plastic molding in the transom area. I will need to remove the molding and re silicone and add screws to tighten it up.
