Etec HO 150 got home from lake and tilt/trim was trying to lower engine. Was fine beige leaving ramp. Where should I start troubleshooting this problem?

If you have a bow trim switch unplug the red wire from it and see if it still lowers. If NG continue to the rest of the switches.
++ to Championman. Additionally check the switch on the lower motor cover. Water may have leaked into the switch causing it to short internally. The rubber cover can get cracks.
Thumped the relay with screwdriver handle and all is good now. Maybe should get new relay in hand to be ready if reoccurs.
