I think I have a bad bearing. It’s making a terrible noise. From what I’ve read so far, you can’t just get a bearing and fix it yourself. The entire lower unit needs replaced. I’m guessing only by a certified dealer. Can I buy a new motor without the mount? I live in SE PA zip is 19320. Let me know any good dealers near me
It has a 3 year warranty so take it to nearest dealer. As for the grinding noise, mine did that a month or so after I bought one when they first came out. Dealer contacted MK and I had a replacement motor in a few days. Turned out to be a magnet that came loose.

I have an ASC about an hour from me. He said probably 2weeks to get it done. He had one come in recently with a similar noise problem. Minnkota authorized a new lower unit. I couldn’t wait so I bought another. I’ll either keep the repaired as a spare or sell it. Thanks for the replies.
