    LU drain plug/seals

Sorry about the silly question. I'm changing my LU gear lube and ran out or can't find the spare drain/fill washers (blue color), so I went and picked up some from BPS; Quicksilver part# 26-0M0183616 (yellow color). Will these in all motors or just some? I don't want to put it on yet and I often get it from a local marina but they're closed now. TIA!

Im trying to clean out the Strainer filter and removed all 4 screws but still can't loosen or remove the lower cowling? Do I have to remove the hose seal behind the engine to get the cowlings separated? what am I missing? TIA

Also- when I remove and install back the Strainer, how do know when stop turning the socket?, or should I mark it?

4motion- See if you can find the other digit for your serial number so you'll have it for the next time. :)
