A couple of months ago I had to replace the voltage regulator on my 1990 Evinrude XP 200 because it quit charging and the tach was going crazy. That seemed to fix the problem, charging right at 14 volts when running and tach doesn't miss a lick now. However the last couple of times I've tried running WOT the engine cuts out and last night when running over 5200 rpms if I hit the trim switch it would cut out. It only does this at high rpms. Could this be a power pack going out? Thanks, DG
