    New Ulterra Making Noise

    I purchased a new Ulterra six weeks ago from a board member after my first Ulterra finally died on me. I had my first one for about twelve or thirteen years. It was rode pretty hard. Two weeks ago it started to make an awful noise while being stowed. It is a loud "clacking" sound. A friend of mine who is a boat mechanic told me that Minn Kota has had some problems with the new Ulterra's. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone tell me what is causing this noise?

    Ulterra fist released in 2015. I would call Minn Kota for the info you need. You have plenty of warranty left, I would be looking for an ASC in your area. Bob

    Like Bob said. Look for an ASC local and bring it there. It would be to your benefit.
