    It's a huge question.

Very tempted to buy today, but it all depends on what you think the White House is going to do and which minute you check the news. It changes by the minute, this is a crazy day.

Hard to catch a falling knife without getting cut. Personally I would wait. More excitement to come.

My Roth is 70% in XLK and I’m 82 and retired. My wife’s Roth is 50% in XLY. Luckily we are only 20% in equities and 80% fixed.

fingers crossed that today is as strong as futures suggest. A few days of trading up, trading down and I will feel better that the market is adjusting to new earnings outlooks and that panic selling is reduced.

    again, fingers crossed

Still, even with some stability I think it will be late summer to see the real fallout of this situation; especially if inflation rises and people loose jobs

I bought shares of NVDA and GOOGL at the open yesterday. GOOGL is an intended long hold, NVDA could end up a swing trade as I have a tight leash on it.

    Wats the latest on tariffs?

If they are a neg tactic we could be back in business quickly and now is the time to buy, if he sticks to prioritizing making socks over things that actually drive the economy and produce tax revenue we are all screwed.

Stopped out on NVDA, still made a nice profit. Swing trading a megacap. Interesting times for sure.

It's a total crapshoot buying now without inside info on the next tariff news.

Someone thinks they have the power but they do not.... 105% wow

Going to be an interesting ride for a while. 3-3.5% up then flipped to 2% down. At least oil is under $60 a barrel. If us normal folks can afford to go anywhere.

I would suggest making a shopping list tonight of stocks you really want for long term and what price would you want to buy the stock at that you would kick yourself if you missed it. Then, tomorrow morning enter the limit order making sure it includes pre market trading. We might get some great stocks at unbelievable prices in the next few days.

Desperate..... Me thinks the rest of the world is laughing at him while he burns in the fire he created.

The Chinese have much more patience and a longer outlook than the midterms allow, and they know it.

    Who has the cards now?

Low oil is nice, but not for the wrong reasons.

oh, an 99% of citizens in China have no voice in anything and would not complain. To assume we have the upper hand because we consume so much from China does not reflect the human and Govt side of this story.

    You are correct sir.

They measure time in centuries vs. four year blocks. Only one side can wait this out.
