Thrust washer keeps getting stuck on prop shaft

I have to use a puller every time I remove the thrust washer on my 2007 225 HPDI. I have the 2 piece and 1 piece thrust washer and have only used the 1 piece so far. Does it matter which washer I use? Prop is a 25-T1 15 1/8. Anything I can to do prevent from getting pressed on the shaft? I tried a little grease and it didn't help much.

    It's normal. I normally just hit/tap the side/edge with a hammer.

ok, thanks. Any difference between the one piece and two piece thrust washer?

I always thought using a lot of grease was a standard practice. I've seen multiple boat tech/mechanics re-install a prop and they always use a good amount of grease. That's where I pick up the practice from.
