    Rain gear suggestions please!!

Looking to replace my current 100 mph suit as it appears to be discontinued. I prefer to pay for a quality suit that has some longevity. I was please with my 100 mph suits and those were the only ones I ever wore, so I’m looking for something equal or improved. The weight of the 100mph suit was perfect, I do not want something that is heavier or insulated. Thank you for reading and your input!

Although costly the Simms Pro dry is as good as it gets.

Recently had to replace my years old 100 mph suit. Tried the newest version. I liked the bibs fine, but hated the hood on the jacket. Returned the jacket and bought the Aftco barricade jacket because I liked the hood a lot better for running down the lake. So, it's a mixed set.

Look into back country/hiking rain gear. Light weight, easier to move around in, more breathable, packable, more comfortable, cheaper, and imo more “waterproof”.

Never understood the need/desire of wanting a full bib suit like you’re going crab fishing to go bass fishing especially when it’s above 45 outside..

Just don't waste your money on Whitewater. I picked up a set late last season becasue of their buy the bibs and get the jacket free deal. Now I know what they were trying to give them away. Never been wetter from an all day rain.

    100%

The high end hunting brands like Kuiu and Sitka have much better offerings that are more comfortable, breathable, stretchable, and contoured fitting than the majority of the higher end fishing brands.

I absolutely love my Sitka Hudson Bibs and Sitka Delta Wading Jacket for fishing as well. I can promise you water and wind is not getting through them, but that will come at a cost. 450.00/500.00 for each piece. They are extremely comfortable and breath well. My only fear fishing in them is hooks because I hunt in them as well.

I have one of the first suits they ever made for bass anglers. It is around 15 years old and is just now showing some age.
