12 Step Program...

Today, one of our members was diagnosed with a rare but non-fatal problem.

Upon cleaning up his garage, Pete came to the realization that he has been struck with OPCD.

Obsessive Plastics Compulsive Disorder.

Noting that he has nearly 300 of every color plastic ever made, in one form or another, he sought out medical help which, of course, was costly and ineffective.

I was hoping someone here knew of a local PA (Plastics Anonymous) meeting and could give Pete some directions and meeting times.......

who said i cleaned it up i just sorted out my stuff and i haven't really been buying any thing latley so i think i am already on the road to recovery i still have a small shipment coming but that will be it no more i am set now maybe till spring

I found a list of the steps Pete. Just read them over and think about it. No pressure!

1. We admitted we were powerless over senkos — that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves and KVD could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of The Ramp Lady.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of tackle trays.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact location of our favorite honey hole.

6. Were entirely ready to have C&O remove all the defects of our rig.

7. Humbly asked Brad to remove our transom straps.

8. Made a list of all persons we had beaten in a tourney and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct cash payments to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take tackle inventory and when we had too many red shad worms, promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our fishing skills, praying only for knowledge of color selection and the power to go to BPS with only 25 dollars.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to obsesive plastics compulsive disorder sufferers and to practice these principles in all our affairs with the ramp lady.

1. purple haze's fault he said buy all yhe senko's you can junebug but i exspanded on that
2. yes i will admit to this i have some of his stuff
3. got something elese to turn over
4. got most of it done still don't know what the h*ll i have
5. lied about that
6. no its haunted no use
7. he did that on his own i just put them on
8. short list
9. i am broke so only can offer them advice
10. never will admit to anything
11. i already have a color-c-lector but embarrased to use it
