    1995 487 drain plug question

    This boat has the older type metal sleeve with rubber drain plug. I want to put a remote plug in. Has anyone done this or is it possible.

    The original sleeve on my boat was corroded (appeared to be aluminum), so I swaged in a brass replacement that was essentially identical, then installed the Flow Rite drain plug.
