    Bearing Buddy

Can anyone give me an idea as to what size Bearing Buddy would be needed on a 2018 Tracker Targa Trailstar trailer? Looking to replace the dust covers that are currently on wheel bearings with the Bearing Buddy and unsure what size to buy.

Pretty sure you have the EZ lube spindles so Bearing Buddy's aren't going to work on there.

Bearing buddies are pretty, but the EZ lube system is worlds better.

1.98" are quite common. They do fit and work fine on the EZ lube spindles.

You'd have to knock the bearing buddy off every time you needed access to the Zerk on the spindle. It may fit on there but why would you do that?

Why would you install a bearing buddy on an axle that is drilled for a grease zirc? Absolutely defeats the purpose & would only allow you to add grease to the outer bearing & the bearing buddy cavity.

I do appreciate the feedback and I am learning a lot from you experienced guys. I’ve only had boat and trailer since October of last year and only 5 times pulling boat and only 3 trips out this spring and I see bearing grease across nice chrome wheels on trailer and I don’t know what’s wrong but just know something isn’t right so start researching. Why I joined group to learn from knowledgeable guys. Thank you.

In my opinion with bearing buddies you will see even more grease. If you do see grease the hub is being overserviced or it has seal failure. With the existing zerk fitting, you use the proper grease, the same as is in the hub, rotate the wheel as you pack it, and when fresh clean grease comes out around the outer bearing, you're done.
The interval is usually annually or every 12,000 miles.
