Hello
i have a 2001 Ranger 520 that I have owned for 23 years. I bought this with intention to own it for ever. I was hoping to send it back to Ranger for a total refresh. Well Ranger doesn’t do that anymore. My thinking is it’s time for a change. I don’t have any idea how to value a boat as old as mine. If any of yall have any suggestions for me sure would appreciate it.

There is a shop down the street from Ranger Boats that can do whatever you want done. They used to work at the factory and can remake your older boat. I think his name was Bill.

I had an 02 520 0x66. I moved to a 20 520c 250Proxs. I like my newer boat, especially the electronics and trolling motor upgrades, but that older 520 was a better hull and the Yamaha just worked for a couple thousand hours. Ranger Parts were getting to be an issue which eventually pushed me over the line for a new one. If I had more time to maintain it, I would have kept the old one, but I wanted to spend the time with family and fishing. It’s a tough choice if you have the means for a new one.
