Mega 360 for 60" Ultrex Quest

I went on Humminbird's sight to order and it only shows Mega 360 available for the 42 - 55 inch shafts. Do I need to look elsewhere or will the 42-55 inch shaft work for the Ultrex Quest 60 inch shaft? Thx

There is no "elsewhere" to get any other version of Ultrex MEGA 360.

If you need a longer setup, you can get the no-mount model and purchase the Ultrex mount separately.

The Ultrex version is 39" and the no-mount is 50"

Thank you Wayne. I do plan on attaching a target lock as well and from what I've seen the Mega 360 should be higher than the Mega Live. Would a 50 inch shaft even make sense based on that set up? Not sure what most guys run on walleye boats with a 60' trolling motor.

I have the MEGA LIVE on the Target Lock at the same depth as the MEGA 360.

You would need to measure your freeboard to determine the shaft lengths needed for transducers.

There are aftermarket adapters out there that allow you to put a 360 for Fortex on an Ultrex. An adapter like that might give you enough length for a 60” Ultrex, but if you’re buying new it’s probably best to go the route Wayne is suggesting.

A caution, there is no Ultrex version that is longer due to shaft flex. Be aware of having that much shaft flex in rough water--could damage the MEGA 360 hitting the trolling motor.
The no-mount and universal model shafts are longer since they have to be stowed on the deck when underway.

I run a mega 360 and ML2 on a regular Ultrex 60" shaft. I have had very few problems last couple years. Only on extreme wind days do they come out of the water and are not used. 20 mph and above it makes it tough but, other than those days----it works perfect. I run an 18.6 foot deep v fiberglass walleye boat.
