I have about 6 of the "Pro Blue" color before they were discontinued and the price sky rocketed on Ebay. They've since reintroduced that color. Hooker Tackle in Williamsburg used to be the biggest Megabass dealer in the area. The last time I was there though, the owner had the place up for sale.
Not a new lure at all. They originally retailed for about $26, and even that was too high of a price for them. I can buy two LC Pointers for the original retail price of that one, and I'd much rather have the Pointers.
But someone will buy it - a "lure collector" more than likely - someone who collects more lures than they actually fish with. I used to be that way - had to have all the nice Japanese lures. I started noticing that the finishes were always all bright and shiny in my tackle box. Hmmm.... wonder why?The heck with that! I'm using them now! Those nice pretty high dollar finishes are all scored up with hook and teeth marks now.
Nowadays, there are VERY few high dollar lures I'll purchase. I can count them on one hand. The ones I do buy, get used right away - the quicker I put some dents, dings and scratches on them, the more likely I will be to use them all the time.![]()
All the best,
Glenn

If you would keep your lures away from bowfin and trees you wouldnt have all the teeth marks and dents......![]()

Pat,
I can't help throwing the lures by the trees. You see, that is called "cover", or when it is submerged, it's called "structure". We BASS FISHERMEN try to throw our lures into that type of stuff to catch BASS. Keep reading brother. You will catch on eventually.![]()
All the best,
Glenn
