New lithium charger - NOCO or MinnKota?

Got a 36v troller running on lead acids charged by Dual Pro 4 bank charger. Two of the three batteries are four years old and testing poorly. Seriously considering the jump to lithium but know the Dual Pro can’t be reprogrammed for lithiums. Trying to decide between a NOCO Genpro 4 bank or MinnKota Precision 440 PCL. The NOCO is about $50 more. Not familiar with either brand so experience or cautions welcomed. Thanks

I went with MK PCL on the new boat. In my personal experience they have been the most reliable.

I have had several MK's for years and they have served me well. I have also heard great things/reports on the NOCO's therefore you probably couldn't go wrong with either.

I've seen quite a few posts/comments about NOCO issues and service recently. I don't have first hand experience there, but might be worth looking.

The older nocco chargers I had issues with not getting a full charge. I run a hybrid set up. Agm for cranking and lithium for a house battery. I have used a MK pcl for a couple years with zero issue. I still use lead acid for trollers and use a lester charger for those. My pcl is a 2 bank and mounted on the wall in the shop

Considering that I've never had an issue with my Minn Kota MK-330D, I'd probably go with the Minn Kota PCL when I split my crank/electronics into two batteries for more capacity.

Hope you don't need any service from NOCO, since their customer service was lousy. I've had two smaller NOCO chargers for tractors and such, and they both have had issues. The only way I would get another one is if I got an amazing deal.

I would 100% go with a Minn Kota product, since they actually stand by their products.

I have 4 Minn Kota and 1 NOCO charger. I run LIFEPO4's in all of my boats. No problems any of the chargers.
