    Exporting Waypoints

Question I have 2 helix 12s on the boat networked. I have marked waypoints on both units over the past year. If I transfer waypoints to a sd card at the console will I also get the waypoints I marked on the bow unit during the transfer? Or will I need to do each unit separately?
    thanks

Helix units do not share waypoints physically, just visually.

You have to export and import the data separately.
You cannot have two sets of waypoints on a single memory card. You can only have one MATRIX folder. The unit writes the data to a MATRIX folder on the memory card that other Heiix units will recognize as well as HumminbirdPC.

Just to expand a little bit. If you back up your console unit to a card then use the same card to back up your bow unit, it will OVERWRITE the backup of your console therefore leaving ONLY your bow data on the card

It is easier to use a separate card for each unit & upload the different cards to HumminbirdPC.
You can then either “merge” the 2 sets of data OR create a new blank file in HumminbirdPC then copy & paste the data from the 2 separate backups into the new blank file. Either way gives you a file with combined data from both units.

If you only want to use 1 card for some reason, you can backup your console unit then upload that data to HumminbirdPC. Now you can take that same card and backup your bow unit. Once again this will OVERWRITE the console data with your bow data. You then upload that data to HumminbirdPC. Just like the first method, you will now have 2 separate files in HumminbirdPC - console & bow. At this point, you can once again either merge the data or copy the data to a new file.
    Have a Blessed Day,
