    Lake Guerrero, Mexico via Lago Vista Lodge -

    I just got back from a trip to Lake Guerrero, Mexico we caugt 100's of bass. These are the meanest fish I have encountered. Lots of 2 to 6 pounders and we had a 13.57 and 10.37 on our final day. If you are heading this way you need to visit http://www.lagovistalodge.com they run a first class operation. Awesome food, great accomidations and they treat you like royalty. They make the trip so easy getting to and from the lodge back to the states. Very reasonible. The fishing is getting ready to get hot! They are getting close to the spawn but March through May is the Big Fish Months as they move out of the thousands of acres of shallow brush back to the main lake. You have to go get you some.

    I was amazed how inexpensive the cost to go to Lake Guerrero. $895 for 4 nights/3 days and $695 for 3 nights/2 days, includes transportation to and from Harlingen TX and fishing and boat. You are going to catch a lot of fish and these Mexican bass pull hard for the size plus the opporitunity to catch a fish of a lifetime. http://www.lagovistalodge.com treats you like royalty while your there. I was highly impressed.
