    Came back early

Amistad was tough to say the least. It is alway a fun trip when we go to Amistad and we had a good time but the fishing was tough. We caught a few tuesday but not even a bite wednesday. We decided to leave it to the FLW Everstart guys and headed back this morning. I had a nucular stress a week ago and when we got to the Border Patrol check I set off the alarms. Them guys were nice and it took a minute or two to figure it out. The sorta got a laugh out of it after we figured it out.

I was afraid of that Skip...... Yep, it's tough on the main lake. But, they're on beds way up the river. From what I've been told by several people is that you can see 2 pounders sitting on beds up there and the big girls are in close proximity.

Yep, heard there was a few fish biting way up the river when we were there. But that's a long run..

I have a BASS Federation Top 6 tournament there the last week of March. Never fished the lake so it will be new to me. I hear you can bed fish in 20 ft of water. Not sure I like the idea of fishing that clear of water.

Hugo there was alot of water coming out of the lake. I found fish on the inside of secoundary points. Best bite was on a 4" Senko. I did notice the bass were feeding on red/browm crawdads.
