Just booked @ the Resort for the Rally. She said she had rooms and the restaurant and bar is now open. Standard rooms are 48.00 for weekdays and 58 on weekends.

I talked to Tommy down there at Amistad yesterday. He said the Resort has done some remolding and the place is a lot nicer than it used to be.
Hurry and book your room folks and don't forget to sign up for the rally on the Texas Rally Page. Also I need y'alls head count for the Rally Meal, it's also on the Texas Rally Page...Thanks.
Is the resort the old amistad lodge? I booked with Carl months ago, should I change?

I think It's always been Amistad Resort.

A bunch of us booked at Anglers. Going to be interesting to see what happens there. Carl is kind of in a bind.
How far apart are the 2 places there on 90?
Amistad Logde and Amistad Resort are one and the same... Anglers Lodge is a different place altogether.
Yeah, that's what I'm putting together in my tiny mind. I'm booked at Anglers. Is the club split between the two? Why? How many? Inquiring minds want to know
All I can tell you is WB and Barney are staying at the Resort. I have stayed at both.
Guys seem to spread out amongst where to stay.

Well Karl, I too thought everyone was booked at Angler's. As are we, but not for long. Gonna have to cancel our room with Carl.
Can't get the wife talked into Amistad.
Gonna have to wait until we go back to Jerry's I guess.
Amistad Lake Resort has night security walking around. That's a huge plus for me. Super nice people that take care of the WTTT members. Closer to the ramp and the Exxon station too. Plus, you get to park in front of your room, making it better to load and unload.
