Please get your bearings in the daytime prior to fishing at night

Lake is fairly low, but fishing has been good to excellent, I'm hearing

This will be my tenth trip down there so ill do just fine with my bearings....minus all the new timber ill get to run into im sure that was once under 6 more feet of water. I have always done very well with spinnerbaits at night but yea have been reading the reports. Im always a little iffy about them though thanks to the fact they have obvious reasons to promote the lake. Guess Ill just have to go down and find out for myself.

I wouldn't take that to heart ... ol JB fishes off a bucket on the gulf ... Just stay in the grass & you'll do OK. May not catch a monster, but plenty of slot fish ...

    Re: (Tx Champ)

I'd load me up a twelve pack of Busch Light, a flask of Jack Single Barrel and HAUL ass towards the dam and throw a black jitterbug.
