Parked boat mid January Water pressure gauge was working.Go out yesterday needle on gauge never moved but pumping good water ran boat anyway everything seemed fine. Could this possibly have frozen while being parked ? If it has does it need to be replaced? Johnson 150 Fast Strike j150gleue 1997

Re: water pressure gauge ? (ChampioNman)

Heres a little trick I learned out of necessity, Mine did the same thing so I hooked it up to my speedo. The formula is P = V x V/69.7 (pressure = velocity x velocity / 69.7) . So 30mph on the speedo is 13lbs of pressure, 37.5 mph = 20lbs. Now I have a 3" water pressure guage.
