out with the new, in with the old ---- 1983 FXSB, Shovelhead engine, all matching #'s, started life as a Low Rider FXSB, primary and final belt drive. Pretty much everything still remains except has a wide glide front end, 5 gal tanks, Crane Cams electronic ignition, S&S carb, S&S oil pump, fresh top end rebuild and cam, solid lifters, and I won't rattle on about the rest. I will tell you it's major change from that barko lounger I been on the last 6 years. Feels like I'm back to ridin something that resembles my 1969 Monkey Wards 5hp mini bike.

well he needs some attention, got a lil tranny trouble and there are a few other things that need attention and some things I want to change, BUT...it's damn close to how I'd want to build one myself and for now I'm just gonna ride the sucker, feel it out some more and learn more about the nature of the beast.

This one ain't no cookie cutter Big Dog chopper, ground pounder, etc, etc, etc.... it was born a Harley Davidson and still is.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet.......thats nice Troy.....one of these days I'll put mine back together...'81 FX,engines been stroked to 84"...it was nice at one time but I need forks and a lil frame straighting(-5sp)and other random repairs....we lost a battle with a left turnin old lady.I bought her new as a senior in high school.....one of these days I'll get her back up,in the meantime I borrow my son's '07.
