trim relay/ Black gunk stuff on wire. Part #0586224

2001 Johnson 150, behind air box their are 2 siemens relay for the trim, on the bottom side of the relay where the wires are there is some black gunk, the wire that controls the down trim on the side of the motor slid out and has that black gunk on it and it won't go back in, or at least it won't stay in. I need the relay /wires all the way down to the plug in. I know that the part # for the relay is 0586224 my question is will that come with the wires all the way to the plug in?

Nope you will only get the relay. The wires and gunk (liquid tape) are part of the assembly. It is a spade type connector so you may be able to open up the back side of the female connection to make it work. Part number for the assembly including cables is 586636 suggested list $66.65.
