I have never been there, but was asked by a coworker to locate some info for them. They will be there at end of May and just dont know what to expect, good v bad areas, typical lures for the lake. What say ye?

I was out today and hit the coves by lakeview marina and the east shore of the old lake. I had to small fish(bass) on spinner baits. I then hit some sandbass in the coves off of rattle traps and road runners. The lake is up for now and seems good. there was lots of boats out today but they were running around alot so I don't think there was much of a bite today.
