Selling a boat with a Honda?

I have a phoenix 721 with a Honda 250 it is loaded with features, highly reliable and very good on fuel due to the Honda. I have always sold my boats every 5 years and updated with a new rig. This time I went 6 years because the Honda is sooooo good. By far the best boat and Outboard combination I have ever owned!! I have the boat listed on both this site and bassboats4sale.com site and I can't get one single call on it. It's not the price because I reduced the price to "Any reasonable offer". My Question is, have any of you guys sold a bass boat with a Honda on it? Are boats with Honda's hard to sell? I thought the Honda would make it sell faster.

People, bass boat drivers, with good sense would buy that Honda power over many other brands but they might not because of a lack of certified dealers that can service the motor nearby. Just because it is much less likely to NEED those dealers should be a selling point but it seems the only thing many consider is how fast a bass boat will go, not how many months it will sit waiting for a new power head.
I don't catch many bass going 75 MPH.

There an awful lot of Phoenix boats for sale too. That could be part of the issue. Being a new Honda owner I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy a Honda powered boat. Your boat is setup very good you will get a buyer.

No one knows what your “reasonable offer” is. Put a price on it and adjust it until you start getting interest.
On the other hand, in 41 years of having bass boats I have never owned a Honda and no one in the fishing clubs I have been in ran a Honda. They just aren’t popular in east central Georgia.

I had price at $71,900 went to $69,900 went to $67,000 so I gave up on a price and said ok any reasonable offer. No one will call or text with any price. I see true transaction prices, not just asking prices in the mid 70's for 2019 and 2020 year boats so I would think my 2018 with way more features than most should be no more than $8,000 to $10,000 less. I see boats that sell on EBAY as completed transactions that are 3 to 5 years older than mine with bare bones features in the $50,000 range so I have to think my boat should be less than the $75,000 boats but more than the $50,000 boats????

Only a person that has to set their hair on fire wouldn't buy it because of the Honda. Most with common sense would buy it.

At least 2 things working against you right now. Time of year and interest rates if they don't have cash.

You are correct I think the rates hurt the used boat market.

I feel like the market has slowed quite a bit also which probably doesn’t help. High interest rates are hurting
