This question is for Don. 2B467439. Pulled the plugs for a change. 190 hours. All were a nice light tan but this one was grey. Any issues here? Thank you sir!

Is this plug from one of the bottom cylinders?
Thank You Leon Pugh
Don is quite busy these days and it has been become very time consuming for him I'm sure to answer all the request he gets, so I will offer a bit of info on this.
What you are seeing is the results of oil in the combustion chamber being burned in small amounts. Synthetic or blend oils this appearance is common. Marine 4 stroke motors, the cylinders are horizontal which can add to this especially on the lower cylinders and the motor is trimmed down when shut off,
Try to make habit off a little trim up, when shut down so the oil can flow out of the cylinder bore into the crankcase!
Top Tier fuel, high quality oil approved by mercury and quickleen (2 oz per 10 gallon) will help reduce carbon deposits.
This is not serious problem unless it is causing excessive compression on that cylinder.
Thank You Leon Pugh
Leon thank you. That is MUCH appreciated.
Leon covered it well. Ready for a new set of plugs.
