Can you help me with Hummingbird Ultrex link?

I have a Hummingbird Helix 12" used exclusively for the 360 feature. I have connected the 360 transducer into the Helix transducer connection plug. I am trying to hook up the built in transducer from my 36V Ultrex (small Silver connection) and cannot hook it up according to help desk at Hummingbird. The connection has to go in the "transducer" connection and a splitter won't work.

Any ideas (don't want to buy another Hummingbird unit to utilize the built in transducer).

Since you left out a lot of detail of what you have, the following covers it all:
The MEGA 360 connects to a unit's transducer port and uses the electrical connection locations that Side Imaging uses. The MEGA 360 does 360 or Side Imaging, but not at the same time.

To have 2D sonar, Down Imaging, and Temperature, you have to split the unit transducer port connections with a M360 Y cable.

LINK has zero to do with a sonar connection, that is GPS.

To use the Minnkota built-in Imaging transducer with the MEGA 360 requires the 10' long 14 M360 2DDI Y cable.
The Ultrex with MEGA SI or MEGA DI has a transducer cable that has plastic plug and is a 14-pin type for a SOLIX/APEX.

The 14 M360 Y cable has two female 14-pin plugs for the MEGA 360 and Minnkota Imaging transducer. It has a male 14-pin plug to connect to a SOLIX/APEX, you have to convert the male 14-pin plug to 7-pin to attach to a Helix.
The converter cable can be the included 10' long 14-pin to 7-pin cable to have 20' of cable to manage, or you can use the Minnkota 3' long MKR-MI-1 adapter to have 13' of cable to manage.

If your Ultrex has the US2 transducer, that is not compatible with the MEGA 360 so you have to attach a Helix transducer to the bottom of the motor. Then you have to use the other 10' long MEGA 360 Y cable --9 M360 2DDI Y cable which has a female 14-pin plug for the M360 and a female 7-pin plug for the Helix transducer. It has a 7pin male plug to connect to a Helix--no adapter needed.

This is a Humminbird MEGA SI transducer on the bottom of a US2 Ultrex----
