    Plainview birds

    Rob and I just got in from another quick pheasant hunt in Plainview. It was a tad tougher than 2 weeks ago. With my GSP Ben, we still put a few birds in the bag.

    The first I ever encountered a pheasant was up at grandmothers in central Ks, I was 5 yrs and was just walking through the pasture with my dad when one flew up in front of me. That and a full bladder didn't mix.

    That's the second time you've posted a pic with "Ben", wasn't sure that was your dog Bob. That is one different lookin pointer. Fine lookin animal like I said before, but dang he looks like a Choc lab with a polka dot suit on

    I love hunting those suckers. That is one fine looking dog there bud. I miss not having a bird dog.

    Man I have not been huting in 6 years let alone bird huntin. Makes me miss it we had some great land back east we used to hunt for them and grouse.
