    Steez A bearings

    Is it worth it to up-grade the bearing in my new Steez A reels or will the performance be negligible ? I've always put ceramic hybrids in my E7'S and Tatula SV'S.

    I don't think you would see much of an improvement on a new Steez reel, Diawa uses a decent bearing in their reels.

    Clean them first. If you upgrade go ceramic with hedgehog or ZPI. Those by far are the best two bearings I have used.

    So after using the stock bearing for 3 years i had zpi bearing put in my steez a last winter. I can safely say there is a performance upgrade, in ease of casting lighter lures and casting distance. Is it worth the money, to some no and some yes, but there will definitely be a difference.
