Angry You just don't know how or when you are going to be got now days!

    https://www.ctinsider.com/columnist/...t-18261063.php

I got a letter finally, telling me almost 2 months ago on June 1 my information with others was breached. Then I see Tampa General Hospital information was breached, and I was there twice in June. So day before yesterday I put a fraud alert through one of the credit agencies. And they will get others to do the same. A person doesn't know what or where something is going to come from now days.

It really sucks but you have to almost act like everyone is out to get you. Keep everything on lock down and trust nobody. It sucks but it’s the best way to protect yourself.

My wife's family had a fake deed filed on some property, they wouldn't have never known if not for a title search after being sold. Took about 8 months and 2500.00 to get the deed straightened out. Theirs was nothing compared to the guy in Connecticut.

Just got a letter from one of my life insurance policies that their third party software support vendors got hacked and blah blah blah. But we'll give you free credit monitoring for a year just sign up, Oh! BTW they may have gotten your SSN.

Most company hacks these days are due to a vendor they use mishandling data or using outdated code/not patching systems. You want to outsource everything you get what you pay for.
