    Help with Lowrance network.

Have 2023 Ranger Z 519 with Lowrance HDS Live at both bow and console, I believe they are networked but not sure. Bow HDS Live active target transducer was removed from trolling motor resulting in bow HDS does nothing. (replaced with Garmin 1222 and LVS 34 on trolling motor) I want originally factory still installed HDS at bow to display same as console HDS, which works perfectly, 2D and Mapping. How do I achieve this ??

Do I need to purchase a cable of some sort to make this work or can I simply adjust some settings on either bow or console HDS to accomplish this.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, I am totally lost and confused !!!

You need an Ethernet cable between the two units. If you had Active Target, there is probably already one there and possibly already links the units. Look for a cable connected to the yellow port labelled E-Net.

Not sure about a 519 but almost all rangers use a thru hull temp sensor on the Nmea network so I would assume it is Nmea networked but probably not Ethernet

Go to your bow HDS and press the pages button, then press the chart icon. In the menu for the Chart find "Sources", press on it, and choose the chart your console unit uses. Then press the pages button, then press the sonar icon, and then in the sonar menu look for sources. Then press the sonar transducer your console unit uses (or another one on your trolling motor).

Make sure in your sonar installation menu of your console unit that you have the proper channel turned on (which ever channel your sonar transducer is plugged into).
    ciao,
