Last 2 time out my ultrex is acting up. When I power it up it immediately tries to turn right. When I put it in the water it turns right until the pedal is toe down and stops. The pedal won't budge. If I power it off I can turn the head by hand but once I power it back up it immediately turns right until toe is down. Steering sensor?
Could be the sensor or it could be the main control board. Did you try to steer with the remote? I would try to unplug the sensor and then see what happens. It you are not really sure bring to ASC to get checked out.

Just an update. I replaced the steering sensor and it's working properly again. I was also having an issue for a long time where my spotlock would disengage randomly when the head would turn full right or left and that has also been corrected with the new steering sensor.
