    DPS 2 Pump Motor

    1 have a 250 G2HO, model E250LHAGF, S/N 05503246, the connector between the DPS Module & the DPS Pump motor got hot enough to melt the 2 pieces together. I checked the current & the pump motor is pulling 27 amps. Does anyone know what the current draw should be for this? I have a service manual, but it does not specify the current rating.

    there are several G2 dealers that post on that site. They may have more direct experience on your question.

    what will extremely helpful is a copy of the diagnostics report. I would expect a fault code to be triggered .

    Thanks Bighare2, I will try the elec owners group. It did generate the open circuit fault code (211) when the plug melted. I replaced the connector & that alarm cleared. It is not generating the overcurrent alarm (216), but the wires are getting hot when the pump is running. I have not taken it to a dealer, so I do not have a diagnostic report.
